Food festival days away
Seldom does specialist transport get to carry as many goodies into Hampshire as during the annual Hampshire Food Festival.
2011's event is set to be no different, with over 90 different events planned to take place. They'll be everything from livestock to brewery and vineyard tours and cider pressing lessons.
Specialist transport will also be delivering some celebrity chefs to Hampshire, with Anthony Worrall Thompson due to cook up a storm alongside Olly Smith.
James Martin is another lending his support to events. He commented, "Do take part in this year's Hampshire Food Festival to meet the local producers, explore the countryside and enjoy the best of Hampshire's food and drink. I have lived and worked in Hampshire for the past 17 years and I am passionate about the amazing diversity of produce the county has to offer... one thing's for sure, if it's great food you're after, then join in the Hampshire Food Festival!"
It will be the eleventh consecutive year that specialist transport has facilitated the Hampshire event. Last year's event brought in more than £3.5 million to the local economy, which benefited many businesses, including the event transport industry.
