Danish festival to get under way
One of the more unusual jobs facing event transport in Europe this coming August is the providing of specialist haulage to the European Medieval Festival in Denmark.
European event transport will be delivering all manner of cargo in convoys of trucks, lorries and vans that would be the envy of any middle ages king.
Among the goods that will heading to the popular annual event in Horsens, Denmark will be horses, swords, jousting poles, tents, dissembled timber structures, falcons, art works and a range of catering stalls, which will provide medieval-themed beer and bites to hungry history enthusiasts from across Europe.
As always, the events of the festival will culminate in the spectacular Knights' Tournament, which will encompass sword fighting, jousting and various acts of chivalry.
And when it's over, event transport will have to pack all the things up and return them to innumerable towns and cities across Europe, including parties from Sussex, Hampshire and London.
