Showdown and Shakedown
Band transport was finally able to head to Brighton to take all the equipment necessary for the Shakedown festival.
Originally scheduled to take place in July but delayed because of safety concerns, the festival finally received the requisite licence in place to will take place on Saturday, September 17, but band transport ensured that all the bands and musicians had their equipment in place well before kick-off.
Looking forward to the spectacle, festival director Matt Priest commented, "With our licence in place, the countdown to the hottest music event on the South Coast is now under way ticket sales are strong and we are all set to deliver a memorable day."
Razorlight was the biggest name brought into the city by specialist band transport, but the East Sussex festival also featured up-and-coming artist Ed Sheeran, New York Pony Club and, possibly, Mark Ronson.
