LMFAO hope Spain gig is not too hot

January will see band transport in Spain help set up a concert by "party rock" hit-makers LMFAO.

However, those in attendance, including those Spanish band transport professionals who will be there for the duration of the gig, will be hoping that there is no repeat of the recent gig at the Coliseo Nacional de Ingenieros in Honduras, during which around 7,000 fans had to be evacuated as a result of a fire.

Later writing on his Twitter page, band member Redfoo commented, "Epic concert tonight!!!! Everybody in Honduras, we set the place on fire!!!!

"They told us that there was a fire when we were on stage. Then we went to the dressing rooms and there was smoke in the halls.

"On a serious note. Hope everybody is safe from the fire tonight! love you Honduras!"

Fortunately, no-one was seriously injured in the blaze, although 15 people were admitted to hospital to be treated for the symptoms of smoke inhalation.

However, the band and its transport team will now be turning its thoughts to its gig in Madrid, Spain, on January 15.
