Exhibition transport Sussex news - John Cage visual art retrospective

A provider of exhibition transport in Sussex has recently had the privilege of carrying more than 100 art works by the composer and artist John Cage to the De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill-on-Sea.

John Cage was one of the leading members of the avant-garde artistic movement of the 20th century and, although more famed for his eccentric musical compositions, he was also an innovative visual artist, as is demonstrated by the work which exhibition transport has taken to Sussex.

David Rhodes, curator of the exhibition, A Nod to Cage, comments, "Few people are aware he was such an accomplished visual artist. He made the works for his own sense of self, for enjoyment, rather than for the public. They are thus quite subtle, very personal and show he had an excellent eye for aesthetics."

However, as well as requiring visual art exhibition transport to the Sussex show, the curators have also required music event transport for the accompanying music-based elements of the exhibition.
